I am Marlaina, a photographer based in the central valley of California. I am always looking to collaborate with creative minds and meeting new people. I am a lover of coffee, the art of photography, being out in the country, vintage fashion, rainy days and thundering nights. I am consistently looking to expand my knowledge and improve my skills.

The main artistic goal in my work is to showcase candid human interaction, the love between them and the smiles and gazes they share. You will find me being bold, and adventurous with my portrait styles and angles I use. I strive to capture those genuine, non posed moments between lovers, mothers and their children and admiring glances from one soul to another.

I am a self taught, photographer. Catching loving embraces in the sunlight always sounds like a good idea to me. I grew up with an avid appreciation for art in all forms, but I didn't find my passion for photography until later in my life, and once I did there was no stopping me. Each time I take a new set of photos, they become my favorite. I love the way that feels.

Every day is a new opportunity to be creative and I intend to.
